A La Hán
A La Hán

Originally, it is अर्हत् in Sanskrit, meaning “one who is worthy” or “a perfected person”, and phonetically transcribed into A La Hán by Vietnamese scholars.
Note : Legend has it that Siddhartha Gautama, commonly known as the Buddha, sent 18 Arhat to other countries to teach his doctrine. That is why Buddhist pagodas now worship the statues of 18 Arhat.
Kinh Cứu Khổ :
Nam mô Phật lực oai, Nam mô Phật lực hộ,
sử nhơn vô ác tâm linh nhơn thân đắc độ.
Hồi Quang Bồ Tát, Hồi Thiện Bồ Tát,
A Nậu Đại Thiên Vương, Chánh Điện Bồ Tát,
ma kheo ma kheo thanh tịnh tỳ kheo,
quan sự đắc tán tụng sự đắc hưu.
Chư Đại Bồ Tát, ngũ bá A La Hán,
cứu hộ đệ tử ....[1].... nhứt thân ly khổ nạn.
Tự ngôn Quan Thế Âm anh lạc bất tu giải,
cần đọc thiên vạn biến tai nạn tự nhiên đắc giải thoát.
Tín thọ phụng hành tức thuyết chơn ngôn viết:
Kim Ba Kim Ba Đế,
Cầu Ha Cầu Ha Đế,
Đa La Ni Đế,
Ni Ha La Đế,
Tì Lê Ni Đế,
Ma Ha Dà Đế,
Chơn Lăng Càn Đế,
Ta Bà Ha.
sử nhơn vô ác tâm linh nhơn thân đắc độ.
Hồi Quang Bồ Tát, Hồi Thiện Bồ Tát,

I sincerely pray to Hồi Quang Boddhisattva, Hồi Thiện Boddhisattva,
the Ultimate Heavenly King, Chánh Điện Boddhisattva,
and all senior priests that all social problems and court trials be solved and settled.
I pray to Boddhisattva Chiefs and five hundred Arhat for saving (name) from all dangers.
What Avalokistesvara Boddhisattva preaches is understandable enough and needs no explanations.
Recite it thousands of times and you will suffer no more.
Just believe, practice and say the following mantra:
Kim Ba Kim Ba Đế,
Cầu Ha Cầu Ha Đế,
Đa La Ni Đế,
Ni Ha La Đế,
Tì Lê Ni Đế,
Ma Ha Dà Đế,
Chơn Lăng Càn Đế,

- "Mantra" : (Sanskrit: मन्त्र) means a sacred utterance, sound, syllable, word, phonemes, or group of words believed to have spiritual power.
A mantra may or may not have literal meaning, but its spiritual value comes when it is audible, visible, or present in thought.
