A vestment made out of hundreds of sewed scrap patches and usually worn by a Buddhist monk. This way of dressing demonstrates monks have to be as thrifty as possible.
Caodai's dignitaries in Phái Thái (the Branch of Buddhism), whose ranks are Giáo Sư (Religious Teacher) and above, also wear this vestment in red called "khậu".
