3. The Law of Eternal Life in the Realm of Punishment.
As mentioned in a previous discussion, I spoke to you about the initial part of the scene of ascension in the Divine Realm where my fellow Daoist had attained the Dao in his earthly existence.
The method he applied was selflessness, dedicating his life in service to sentient beings and elevating the profound principles of the Dao to enter the Eternal Sacred realm.
He embedded that divine light within the minds of the children of the Supreme Being. Those who sow righteousness shall reap a bountiful harvest of ascension upon the hour of their passing.
Now, let us discuss the scene of retribution. Just as there is ascension, there must also be suffering, as there is light, there is darkness, and as there is life, there is death.
The principle of life involves the dual nature of yin and yang within the workings of Heaven and Earth. This aspect is interpreted in various ways in the teachings of different religions, which I need not reiterate here.
I encourage you to explore the sacred texts of all religions, as they contain explanations of these fundamental concepts. I will focus on why one must undergo suffering and what it entails.
When the Divine Spirit of a person transcends the physical form, it has the capacity to recall everything that it did during its time in the perishable body. The Divine Law of the Supreme Being established the cosmic order, created all things, and brought forth this human existence.
The Supreme Being compels it to remember, to remember in the form of what we call memories, so that images of its past actions manifest in the Divine Spirit. It's akin to a film reel playing back the entirety of one's life.
However, the viewer in this case is not a detached observer with no connection to the scenes unfolding in the film. It is not like that at all. When the memories appear in the Divine Spirit, they also bring back the sounds and emotions associated with those memories.
To illustrate, if in one of our lifetimes we took a knife and killed another person, we committed the sin of taking a life. Regardless of the circumstances surrounding that act, after shedding the physical form, our Divine Spirit will have to relive a period during which the image of wielding a knife to kill another person will replay before us.
We will remember that image vividly, and it will repeat itself many times. Even if we wish to forget and find peace within our souls, we cannot forget.
When we took a life with a knife, the one who was killed experienced immense pain. Their suffering reached its peak. Try to imagine cutting a small, bleeding wound on your own body, and how much it would hurt. Now, those we killed had to endure an agonizing death beneath our hands, akin to our own body experiening that same suffering.
Our Divine Spirit (Spiritual body) recorded not only that pain but also captures the associated emotions, therefore in the spiritual realm, the path of suffering for the hierarchy of souls, when they recollect and assess their life with the harmful actions they've committed, is entwined with the pain experienced by those who suffered from their deeds.
The pain endured by those whom we've killed becomes our own suffering, we live within that pain, with no means of escape.
Regarding how long the punishment ordained by the Supreme Being lasts for a person's Divine Spirit, no one can say. It continues until our Divine Spirit awakens to recognize its wrongdoings.
Naturally, with newfound wisdom and clarity, it becomes aware that it must go through the cycle of reincarnation to repay those debts, to make amends for the suffering it caused to others and all living beings. We return, taking on a mortal body, to live a life burdened with much suffering and adversity.
Such is the fairness of Creation.
For this reason, when the Supreme Being established the Dao, it mandated that we should strive to refrain from taking life within our Divine Spirit. Unfortunately, within the realm of this existence, we must eat to survive, which often involves taking the lives of other sentient beings to sustain our own. This creates a complex cycle of reincarnation that is difficult to escape from.
When we kill an animal to obtain its meat, it must hold resentment towards us, and it must feel the pain of being killed. All these images, the visuals, the sounds, and the emotions, including the suffering of the animal we've killed, remain in the memory of our Divine Spirit.
You may have heard people say that in the invisible realm, we review the past of our lives as if watching a movie. Indeed, it is like that, but this movie records not only the visuals but also the feelings and sounds.
It transmits directly into our Divine Spirit, not as an objective observer on the outside, akin to watching a Hollywood film where actors perform scripted scenes on a movie set. Upon viewing it, we just laugh; instead, we become the actors in this grand theatrical performance.
Just like when we slaughter a pig for its meat, it struggles and experiences pain. When it appears in our recollection, we feel we are actually suffering in distress just as the pig was.
The punishment in this realm is the Law of Eternal Life because these memories reappear one year after our physical departure and a hundred years later, when our Divine Spirit recalls them, they appear the same way.
This existence remains unchanged until we achieve enlightenment, the Divine Essence in our Divine Spirit realizes our past wrongdoings. Only then, we can end the cycle of this theatrical punishment.
We return, taking on a new physical form, to endure a human life filled with challenges as compensation for the suffering that was seen in our Divine Spirit in the realm of the Yin dimension (Âm quang).
To be honest with you all, when I speak about the scene of ascension, I feel joy, but when I speak about the scene of suffering, I experience great anguish. Just thinking about, it brings pain to my spirit.
I pray that all of you, once you understand the profound truths of the Dao, the Law of Eternal Life, and the principle of divine justice, will strive to practice these principles:
Doing good and righteous deeds throughout your earthly existence, but at a truly profound level, not just superficial actions. This requires you to live with a saintly and spiritual heart.
Only then, when the day comes to depart from this physical body, you will enter the realm of Eternal Life.
