7. From where does the Divine Soul arise?
The Divine Soul (the True Soul) is a divine emanation of the Supreme Ultimate (Thái Cực). Within the Supreme Ultimate abides the sovereign power of boundless love, free, immutable, and eternal. Thus, the emanated spirit of the Supreme Ultimate — namely the point of Spiritual Light, or the Divine Soul — arises from the infinite ocean of love and limitless luminosity, bestowed upon all beings, thereby establishing the Law of Justice and Universal Compassion.
The Supreme Ultimate is the Sovereign of Heaven and Earth, of the entire cosmos, holding the principle of harmony by which all beings are set into motion. Because It possesses the sovereign authority to preserve the power of bestowing ranks, It must emanate souls, that is, share forth Its divine authority, so as to govern all beings within the ordained framework of Creation, establishing their respective stations.
It is the clarity of consciousness in primordial souls and incarnated beings alike, able to discern with rectitude the distinction between justice and self-interest, to recognize both love and transgression — this, indeed, is true spiritual intelligence.
The Supreme Ultimate is the Lord of Heaven and Earth and of the entire universe, grasping the law of harmony by which all beings are governed. Because It holds sovereign authority over the power of conferring divine stations, It emanates souls — sharing forth Its power — to guide all beings within the ordained bounds of Creation, assigning place and rank.
Subpreme Being is the Lord of Life itself, vested with absolute sovereignty over all things, the Supreme Master of Deities, Saints, Immortals, and Buddhas. With boundless mercy and infinite compassion, He uses the Light of Life to nourish all beings, and through unfathomable mystery bestows spiritual ranks upon all His children.
The Buddha Mother is the Creatrix of the entire manifested cosmos, holding the true principles that give form and appearance to all beings in the universe. She bestows upon us the True Spirit to animate and preserve the physical body, establishing the mechanism of worldly existence, forming it into an examination ground of merit and recompense, whereby divine rank may be attained.
She presides over the founding of spiritual lineages and the establishment of the Dao, nurturing life and safeguarding both soul and form for all beings, for She is truly the Mother of all existence.
In other words, the Buddha Mother creates the physical, manifested organs and forms, thereby creating and defining the spiritual stations of all True Souls.
